How it works
- Competes with the SNAP-25 protein in forming the SNARE complex.
- Dampens neurotransmitter release at the neuromuscular junction.
- The described effect is local and superficial, on the muscles of facial expression.

Is it injected?
No. SNAP-8 is for topical use. It is reconstituted to be blended into a cream or serum, at concentrations of 2 to 10%. Injecting it is not the use described in the literature and this sheet does not support it.
Why does the calculator not include it?
The calculator converts a dose into insulin syringe marks. Here the dose is not set by injected volume but by concentration in the finished formulation.
